Ulli's Lederwerkstatt ist inmitten der Düsseldorfer Altstadt und hat ein ganz
spezielles Konzept.
In der Lederwerkstatt werden Taschen, Hosen und Jacken individuell veredelt. Doch hauptsächlich bekannt sind sie für ihre coolen
veredelten Militärjacken. Sie nehmen alte Militärjacken und färben sie
ein, veredeln sie mit Lederapplikationen, Pelz oder Strass.
Auf Wunsch werden auch spezielle Sonderanfertigungen gemacht.
Es gibt aber nicht nur Jacken, Taschen oder Hosen sondern genug andere Einzelstücke aus alten Felldecken
oder Zeltplanen.
Meine persönlichen Favoriten: 2nd Hand Army Shirt für 5 € und Camouflage Hemd für 20€
Wer extravagante und coole, robuste Kleidungsstücke
mag, wird hier sicher fündig.

In the leather studio will be individually finished bags, pants and jackets. But they are mainly famous for their cool finishing of military jackets. They take old military jackets and colorize it, prepare it with leather, pelt or rhinestones. Upon request, special custom-made.

Die höhlenartige
Garage ist bis zur Decke vollgestopft mit schrägen und bunten Artikeln aus aller Welt.
Ob Hand- und
Reisetaschen, futuristisches Chippendale-
Mobiliar, Perlmuttlampen, Bunte Shirts oder ganz viel Accessoires und Schmuck.
Man findet viele individuelle Sachen. Ausserdem finden im Store regelmäßig Ausstellungen statt.

My Trip to Düsseldorf

Am letzten Wochenende war ich an meiner alten Wirkungsstätte in Düsseldorf.
Was für ein fantastisches Wetter und was für ein Wochenende. Es war wieder mal großartig und abwechslungsreich.
Und so kam es, dass ich mich am Samstag aufmachte, um einige Eindrücke aus Düsseldorf für euch fotografisch festzuhalten.
Ich lief zu erst zum Schlossturm (Schifffahrtsmuseum) auf der Rheinterasse in der Nähe der Altstadt, um das obige Bild zu schießen. Die Rheinterrasse ist mitten im Herzen von Düsseldorf, direkt am Rhein gelegen. Die Rheinterasse kann sich sehen lassen,oder?
Von dort aus machte ich mich weiter auf den Weg in Richtung Bucht. Eine tolle Location und mittendrin ein jahrealtes Schiff.
Weiter zum Marktplatz mit anschließend schneller Flucht aus dem samstäglichen Stadttrubel. Katastrophe, wie immer.
Ein kurzer Stopp bei Vibes, Vaseline und dem Bekleidungsveredler Ulli (s.h. meine Posts) musste sein.
Von dort aus ging ich direkt zur Cafe Bazzar auf der Heinrich-Heine-Allee 53 und bestellte mir ein leckeren Cappuccino und ein leckeres Baguette.
Nachdem ich mich vollgetankt hatte, besuchte ich neben an im Replay Shop mein alten Kumpel Ben Heidemann (Shopmanager bei Replay).
Nach einem kurzen Gespräch ging es weiter auf die Königsallee.
Ob Louis Vuittion, Prada, Philipp Plein oder Abercombie&Fitch, alle sind sie dort vertreten. Du solltest zumindest einmal dort gewesen sein.
Während ich mir neue Kapuzenjacken bei American Apparel anschaute, riefen mich bereits die ersten an, um den Abend zu planen.
Der Tag neigte sich damit dem Ende zu und ich ging mit einem riesen Lächeln im Gesicht nach Hause.

Last Weekend I was in Düsseldorf.
What a fantastic weather and what a weekend. Again it was great and varied.
And so it happened that I started on Saturday to get some impressions for you from Düsseldorf.
I just went to the castle tower (Maritime Museum) on the Rhein terrace near the old town to shoot the above picture. The Rhein terrace is located in the heart of Düsseldorf, directly on the Rhein. The Rhein terrace is impressive, right?

From there I went to the bay. A great location and a year-old ship in the middle.
Next stop was the market, with rapid escape from the bustle Saturday shopping. Catastrophe, as always.
From there I went straight to the Cafe Bazzar on the Heinrich-Heine-Allee 53, and I ordered a delicious cappuccino and a delicious baguette.
After I had filled up myself, I went to the next door to visit my old friend Ben Heidemann , he´s Store Manager at Replay.
After a short conversation, I went to the Königsallee.
Whether Louis Vuittion, Prada, Philipp Plein, or Abercrombie & Fitch, all are represented there. You should at least have been there.
While I was looking at new hoodies at American Apparel, already called me some friend to plan the evening.
That´s why the day ended and I went with a huge smile on my face back home.

Während meines Aufenthalts auf der Fashion Week in Berlin, mußte ich AllSaints ein Besuch abstatten. Und siehe da, ich wurde fündig und habe mir ein paar neue Budapester für nur 68€ gekauft. Sobald ich etwas neues habe, muss ich es auch sofort anziehen. Kennst du das Gefühl auch?

Auf der Bread & Butter hatte ich bereits einige Bilder auf dem Stand von Salsa Jeans gemacht. Vor allem überraschten mich, die sich plötzlich bewegenden Schaufensterpuppen.
